About the Farm
Bidwell Canyon Farm is a family-run, ecosystem-friendly farm growing a diverse variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables for the local Surprise Valley and Modoc County community.
Tucked into the mouth of Bidwell Canyon near Fort Bidwell — California's northeastern-most town — the farm sits at the edge of the Warner Mountains in one of the state's most remote and beautiful valleys. The family acknowledges that the farm operates on the ancestral lands of the Gidutikad Band of the Northern Paiute, who stewarded this ecosystem for generations.
From spring greens to summer tomatoes, peppers, and squash, the farm's harvest reflects the rhythm of the Surprise Valley growing season — fresh, local, and rooted in place.
