Cedarville is a small town in Modoc County, California, located in Surprise Valley near the California-Nevada border, about 60 miles east of Alturas via CA-299. With a population of 437 (2020 census), it's the largest community in Surprise Valley and is known for natural hot springs, ranching heritage, and stunning Warner Mountain views.
